Yeppoon
is the major centre for the Capricorn Coast, and is
situated just north of the Tropic of Capricorn on the

OFF YEPPOON COAST.
Just off the coast of
Yeppoon are the Keppel Islands. Great Keppel Island and
North Keppel Island. There are a number of smaller islands
off the Yeppoon coast, such as Myall island, Middle
Island, Humpy Island and many other smaller islands. The
many islands, small and large, makes the sea views from
Yeppoon so inviting.

approximately 13,500. As Yeppoon continues to grow
the estimated population is now much higher.
